On November 2, 2007 members of the Flat River Band, Chad, Andy, and Dennijo Sitze entertain the patients at the Vanderbilt Muscular Dystrophy Clinic. This clinic is recognized officially as an ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) clinic.

The Flat River band is currently working with a Nashville based entertainment company to help launch the first pod cast. The show will be airing the first week of September. The weekly pod cast will be titled "Five Minutes With the Flat River Band" The Journey.
